High inside Forum Groningen, the city presents itself from a different perspective. Through the windows, part of the Martinitoren rises into view while visitors stand nearby, taking in the panorama.
A shared view of Groningen
What caught my attention was not only the tower, but also the people gathered in front of it. Some were looking out across the rooftops, others appeared to be talking, and together they gave the scene a calm, unhurried feeling.
The Martinitoren is only partly visible in the frame, yet it remains unmistakable. Seen from within the modern interior of the Forum, this familiar piece of Groningen becomes part of a broader scene: architecture, city life and people sharing the same view.
Taking a moment
This photograph is less about capturing the entire skyline and more about a simple experience—standing above the city, recognizing a familiar landmark and pausing for a moment to enjoy where you are.
